50 mile 3 bike ride starting at 09.30 hours from Dalston. Riding out to & along the Solway estuary taking in Anthorn, Bowness on Solway, Burgh by Sands & Beaumont. Route >> HERE <<
Coffee/lunch will be at Bowness (31 miles) where we should meet up with Alisons group. It is a fairly easyish, shortish, flattish route & so I would expect to get to Bowness around 11.30 to 12.00. There may be a 'pop' up refreshments stop (hot drinks & snacks) at Beaumont but I can't guarantee it will be open, so byo snacks if needed.
The weather forecast around the "Island", at this time, looks reasonable. Though there may be an odd shower or two & quite cool.
Let me (or Alison, if joining her ride) know if you are coming as we may need to pre warn the cafe. We are hoping for a big club turnout 🤞😁
