09:30 the bridge at Armathwaite (parking on bridge) a sharp right turn for Staffield, Newbiggin, Talkin, Forest Head, Brampton Junction & early lunch at the White Rabbit Tearoom (22 mile). Lanercost, Hethersgill, coffee stop at Newtown, Hadrians Wall Snack Shed (37 mile). Irthington, Wetheral & back to Armathwaite (50 mile).
There are no 'serious' climbs, approx, 3000 feet elevation gain, however some of the climbs are short, sharp, little 'stinkers'. Probably between a 2 & 3 bike Ride.
