The ride will start from the Sycamore Tree Cafe, Longtown at 9.30am. The route will be to Penton, Newcastleton then the B6357 eventually arriving at Bonchester Bridge at about mid-day. (the pub will open for lunches from 12 noon). From B.B. the route will be to Hermitage, Din Fell and the A7 for a short distance before taking a bit of a scenic diversion into Langolm. Then back to Longtown via Claygate and Harelaw. Total distance 84 miles approx. The route is undulating throughout. The roads are usually quiet. At the moment the forecast for Sunday seems reasonably okay. I hope to see some of you on the ride.😢😭😤
