Dear Fellow Cyclists,
I am part of a campaign group called SITU (Sustainable and Integrated Transport for Ullswater).
The group has been working on a questionnaire about safe cycling routes and crossings along the A66 west of Stainton.
The short questionnaire is now ready and available through the SITU
website on the link below. Could I ask you please to complete the survey
and also to send it on to keen and reluctant cyclists of your
acquaintance, friends and family, or anyone else who you
think might be interested. It is particularly relevant to local people
but the thoughts of holiday makers here would be appreciated too.
The last question is the crucial one and may appear
a little ambiguous (I didn’t design it!) but the critical input you
guys could put it in, is which of the A66 crossings between Penrith
and Troutbeck you think would most benefit from
cyclist improvements.
