I am leaving Melmerby at 0930 to go as directly as possible to Maulds Meaburn (Temple Sowerby, Kings Meaburn). Looks like we best have cash for coffees etc. Ride c 15 miles.
Going on to Crosby Ravensworth, Shap, (possibly Rosgill OR Concrete Road), Bampton, Askham, Lowther caravan park, Brougham Castle, Carleton, Beacon Edge, A686 to turn to Edenhall, through to Langwathby, Winskill, A686 Melmerby.
Maulds Meaburn Rosgill Bampton Melmerby = 29 miles OR
Maulds Meaburn Concrete Road Bampton Melmerby = 32 miles
So somewhere around 45 miles(!?)
