Sunday's ride is round the back of Skiddaw following this route: https://www.cyclinguk.org/route/back-o-skiddaw-loop-lake-district-cicerone-publishing but starting and finishing at Greystoke car park ( 9.30am start) which will make it around 40 miles.
I haven't done all of this route before, but I suspect it's fairly hilly, given the bits I have done :) . This is 2 bike pace , so fairly relaxed and sociable, whilst making progress. All welcome of course, but please be aware if you are on an e-bike it is likely you will be waiting at the top of the hills for the rest of us and when we get there we will need recovery time, so extra layers might be extra important for you, given there has been little evidence of summer lately.
Please bring food/drink for 40 miles - we could divert to Caldbeck ( Priest Mill) for coffee but that's fairly early on, we could also have a late stop in Keswick before the final climb(s) home, but I'll probably temperature test those stops with those who sign up.
