A 60 mile ride from Wetheral, the Green, 09:30 hours Sunday 5th June. Heading to Armathwaite, Renwick & over Hartside summit to Alston. Returning via Greenhead. Birdoswald. Lanercost, Irthington.
Hilly, though some might say 'just a bit lumpy', at over 4,700 feet of ascent but just as much descent 😁
First refreshment stop will be at Alston (25 mile) & a quick stop at Birdoswald🍦(45 mile). The weather is forecast to be very good 👕🩳 though it's always at least a 'top coat' colder at Hartside & Alston.
