Starting at Tebay at 9:30 am, at the top of the hill near the sports ground !.
We go out through the Lune Gorge, then along the narrow road alongside the Howgills to Dent for 11's. Distance 14 miles.
From Dent we take the road that climbs up through Deepdale and White Shaw Moss to Ingleton for Lunch. Distance 10 miles.
After Lunch we head south to Burton in Lonsdale, then turn and cross back over the A65, missing Kirkby Lonsdale and then going into the Killington Valley and so back back to Tebay. Distance 23 miles.
Overall distance 47 miles. It is a nice scenic route in places, - and a wee bit hilly !.
