The ride starts at 0930 (BST) Tarn Lane End Burton in Kendal (GRef SD 529 760)
The route (55mi and 670m ascent) is largely flat. There is little wind predicted but it's flat so what there is will be noticeable! Good practice at following a wheel?
Borwick/Over Kellet/Caton/Quernmore/through to Booths Garstang for lunch stop. Returning via the flat lands to Lancaster Nether Kellet etc)
Good opportunity to get to know the S of the area if you have not already been treated to one of Keith and Cathy's rides.
The route may be changed to take advantage of cake and ice-cream stops!
