The ride will be as published with a 10:00 start at the Cross Keys.
Elevenses at the Pot place will be via Beacon Edge, Roundthorn, Strawberry Bank, Gt Strickland, Lazonby, Thiefside and Calthwaite ( a distance of 16 miles ).
Lunch at the Upfront Gallery will be via Fieldhead, Hay Close, Low Braithwaite, Hurst, Skelton transmitter ( a distance of 12 miles ).
The return to Carleton will be via Laithes, Newton Reigny, Newton Rigg college lane, Thacka Lane, Drovers Lane and Pategill ( about 8 miles ).
The overall distance of 36 miles involves some 2070 ft ( 632 m ) of ascent.
