The ride is planned to start from the bridge in Clapham at 0930.
The route will take us to Gisburn for 11s before heading to Clitheroe and Holden Garden Centre where we will have lunch. The return leg will be via Giggleswick for a total distance of 52 miles over undulating terrain.
HOWEVER, the forecast isn't looking great, with predicted strong winds and rain. If the forecast gets worse I will either shorten the ride by approx 10 miles, start from an alternative venue if conditions look better from there, or, as a last resort, cancel the ride.
I will update this blog tomorrow evening, confirming what we are doing when we may have a better idea of likely conditions.
