I have decided not to do the route indicated on the runs list. I reconnoitered the route a couple of Sundays ago and consider the route unsuitable for a weekend club ride. I should have considered the route more carefully before putting it on the runs list.
The revised ride will be from Annan to 11's at cafe 91 in Lockerbie and then to Dumfries via the village of Ae. Lunch will be at a cafe on the Whitesands in Dumfries. Return to Annan via the coast road. Total distance will be about 55 miles.
At the moment the forecast is for the day to be overcast with the possibility of light showers round about mid-day.
Meet on the main street approximately opposite the police station on the small car park.
