Dear Geoff
Please could you share this email about the next Borderlands Cycle Sportive with your members.
Many thanks Janet

Putting your heart into it!

That’s the theme of the next Wooler Wheel Borderlands Sportive on May 12th as money from the event will go to support The British Heart Foundation

WOOLER WHEEL CYCLE SPORTIVE Saturday 12th May 2018 in aid of British Heart Foundation Now in its 5th year the event takes place in Northumberland and Scottish Borders, with a choice of 4 routes with nominal distances of 170, 100, 60 km and a dedicated 30km junior sportive for under 16-year olds. Enjoy these rides for their own sake or use them as part of your training programme, for example, if you're a road racer or a triathlete.
This year’s events hope to raise £5,000 for British Heart Foundation in memory of a previous Wooler Wheeler from Alnwick who sadly died of a heart attack last November aged just 45. He was passionate about anything cycling so having spoken to his wife we thought it would be fitting that the event helped raise money for the British Heart Foundation. https://www.bhf.org.uk/

Want to lend a hand?
If you’re not cycling at present but would like to help out we’d can always use more marshals to help riders around the route. Even if can only offer a short time during the day that would be great or if you know anyone else I might be able to ask to help out. Contact wworganiser@btinternet.com for details on becoming a marshal. Enter the Borderlands events via the British Cycling or
Enter the Borderlands events via the British Cycling or Wooler Wheel websites and entries close on Sunday 6th May 2018
