Just now in Appleby at 0930 on Saturday morning, there is black ice on the surrounding roads and cycling would not be possible. It looks as if tomorrow might be less cold and if there is not too hard a frost overnight it might be possible to do the run. So I shall wait to see. If a hard frost is later forecast this evening I shall cancel this evening, otherwise I shall decide early tomorrow morning. So please watch this space.
