2 days in the Peak District

Now here's an idea:
Several members have shown interest in a short trip to the Peak District to do some of the Tour route and also include some classic ascents(!) So here is the plan:
The proposed routes are shown in the two maps - you can click on the maps to see more detail
North - Day one
South - Day two

The idea would be to travel down early and meet at Ladybower reservoir (SK 203 858) picnic table at bottom of N map)) to set off at about 11am on the North route which takes in the Strines Road and then goes up to Holmfirth to take in Holme Moss and Longendale and comes back over Snake Pass to Ladybower. approx 50mi but could be extended.
That evening some form of accommodation would be required and may be centred around either Castleton or Bakewell.  YHAs, campsites are nearby or there are Travelodges and Premier Inns in Sheffield and Chesterfield(both close) or local B&B. Overnight accommodation is up to you, but
next day we would meet at 0930am at Bakewell 12mi south (of Ladybower) to complete the southern route which takes in The Winnats and the Cat and Fiddle route over from Macclesfield to Buxton. Again only 50mi but it does give us time to extend if good weather and also time to get home at the end of the day. (3h to Penrith)
I am proposing 21/22 August as this will avoid our regular club rides.

Let me know if you are interested in joining us so that we know to expect you on the day and I will get together a list for those who might like to share accommodation.
